Chemistry is a scientific method — it works with measurable values, isolates the active compound, and repeats a process exactly.

Alchemy is the older science: it works with the rhythms of Nature and with the living quality a plant carries within it, seeking to capture the very spirit of the plant. The active compounds are certainly present — but in alchemy they are secondary to that living quality.

Every spagyric preparation follows one principle: separate, then reunite.

We separate the plant’s three principles — Sulphur (its essential oil), Mercury (the alcohol) and Salt (the mineral salt won from its ash) — prepare each with care, and reunite them. What returns to the glass is the complete herbal being of that plant.

Because we do not measure it. A number on a label captures the chemist’s view of a plant, not the living quality alchemy is after.

What we can tell you is that our alcohol is exceptionally pure and pre-distilled, chosen for how completely it draws the plant out, and that our preparations are made deliberately potent and concentrated. A laboratory figure would miss the point of the Work.

To a chemist, potato spirit and grape spirit are the same; an ancient tradition — reaching back even to Scripture — holds that the vine carries a particular spirit within it, a difference of vibration rather than of formula.

In the same spirit we work with philosophical water: rainwater, gathered before it has touched the earth and distilled to purify it, for water fallen from the heavens carries something living that later animates our salts.

Kept from direct sunlight and tightly closed, many years. We work with 93–94% grape alcohol, an excellent preservative.

Our distilled preparations are steadier still and, like a fine wine or whisky, can deepen with age.

The alchemical tradition spans centuries and shaped a great deal of what became modern medicine.

Our work, though, is more than extraction: it is the faithful continuation of that old philosophy — modern glass, incubators and care in the service of the traditional recipes, which is what sets a spagyric essence apart even from an ordinary tincture.

For now, only this size — it feels right for the care each bottle takes.

If there is ever the demand, we would gladly introduce larger vessels.
